The first Autogloben fair will be held at the Stockholm Globe Arena from 3-4 February. Although the first regional service market fair for Stockholm and Mälardalen has not yet taken place, the organiser, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, is pleased to announce that Autogloben is set to return in 2018!
The Quality Fair increased in terms of quantity and quality. This year’s Swedental fair saw a 25 per cent increase in visitors and the Annual Dental Congress was completely sold out. Scanpack 2015 may be summarised as a super-fair.

The Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg, the Scandinavian centre of gravity in the exhibition, conference and meetings industry, has further consolidated its leading position within the whole region. A clear plan for growth has quickly brought about the launch of four new fairs. And the strong increase in trade visitors has continued unabated through the new year. In short, the future looks bright.
Digitisation, new powertrains, new materials, adequate supplies of skilled people, and intensified competition are some of the major challenges facing the service market in the next few years. The current situation and the expected developments are featured on the exhibition floor and in the seminars at the Auto Trade Fair in Gothenburg.
2016 a year of success for our fairs and exhibitions.
“For us, it's about seizing on what people are interested in, keeping right up-to-the-minute, and attracting new groups of visitors,” says Ulrika Liss-Daniels, Senior Vice President Exhibitions & Meetings at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.
In 2016 EuroHorse is the second largest horse fair in the world and will once more take place in Gothenburg alongside the Gothenburg Horse Show with the World Cup Finals in Show Jumping and Dressage.
Underhåll 2016 attracted 20% more visitors than the previous event. Exhibitors are talking about a dynamic and extremely effective trade show.
“One of the best we’ve attended,” says David Duvgren, Sales Manager at Nilfisk.
In 2015, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre Group, of which Gothia Towers is a part, increased its total number of visits by 26% to almost 1.8 million visits, marking a new record. In addition, the Group had peak sales of 130 million EUR.
“Previously we’ve mostly talked technology, never marketing. That’s set to change this year,” says Jonas Ogvall at D-Congress. The Digital Commerce Congress wants to attract more marketing professionals this year. Most people agree that future retail growth will be digital. Last year online retail sales totalled SEK 43 billion, up 15 per cent.
